AN ANALYSIS ON SOME CAUSES INFLUENCING STUDENTS’ STUDYING RESULTS IN FOREIGN DEPARTMENT – THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The studying result which plays an important role has an impact on not only students but also university. To students, the studying result influences directly students’ job position and personal income in the future. Additionally, it reflects the training quality of the university. According to the recent studies, students’ studying results are affected by a variety of factors including: subjective and objective ones. However, these factors are implied based on lecturers’ personal opinions and experience. In this article, a complete ... is given to identify and analyze some causes affecting students’ studying results in Foreign Language Department – Thai Nguyen University. Data analysis process is carried out based on several algorithms; for example: analysis of variance, multiple linear regression, Pearson coefficient of corelation in SPSS software. Some factors influencing students’ studying results are the basis for some solutions of the heads of Chair and Department to enhance the training quality. This analysis result is considered to be meaningful information for students to have a good plan and improvement with a view to gaining the best studying result.
