RESEARCH REVIEW STATUS SPECIES OF AQUATIC PLANTS IN XUAN THUY NATIONNAL PARK - NAM DINH

Abstract

Wetlands are one of the most productive ecosystems in the world. They provide a huge source of freshwater and saltwater fisheries, firewood and some medicinal plants. In addition, wetlands also protect property, houses and land before the wind storm, limit the impact of the flooding disaster, underground water regulation and supply domestic water to residents region. Xuan Thuy wetland, where isXuanThuyNational Parknow, is the first inVietnamto participate in the international Ramsar Convention on wetlands conservation. This is a coastal estuarine ecosystems which is important both ecologically and socio-economic.
