Abstract


Wetlands are one of the most productive ecosystems in the world. They provide a huge source of freshwater and saltwater fisheries, firewood and some medicinal plants. In addition, wetlands also protect property, houses and land before the wind storm, limit the impact of the flooding disaster, underground water regulation and supply domestic water to residents region. Xuan Thuy wetland, where isXuanThuyNational Parknow, is the first inVietnamto participate in the international Ramsar Convention on wetlands conservation. This is a coastal estuarine ecosystems which is important both ecologically and socio-economic. Plant components ofXuanThuyNational Parkis relatively poor compared to many other national parks in the country, but it is significant biodiversity protection for wetlands.XuanThuyNational Parkhas 64 species of phytoplankton, the most precious seaweed gold and a number of species to study medicine ... via aquatic plants inXuanThuyNational Parkacross the four plots, each cell size of 0.02 ha have listed 22 species of a total of 116 plant species present atXuanThuyNational Park.
