Abstract
The number of students using Facebook every day is increasing, thus the author would like to know how English-major students of Nha Trang University are applying Facebook for their learning English skills. The objects were 32 students of experiment class (class 60NNA-5) and 32 students of traditional class (class 60NNA-7). An online survey was designed and sent to 32 students, and then randomly, 10 students were interviewed to know what benefits and difficulties they have while using Facebook to learn English. A comparison between results of final exam of Writing 3 class (Business Writing) of the two classes was carried out to test whether their studying results after using Facebook are similar to their answers in the online survey. This research enlightens some suggestions to apply Facebook in teaching English language.
