Abstract
The article aims to describe the current situation and propose some solutions to enhance the Library at University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Thai Nguyen University. Feedbacks and ideas about the status and recommendations to improve the library were collected from 130 staffs and 1500 students. The current state of infrastructure, rooms, spaces, equipment, software and computers was also surveyed. The results showed that the current infrastructure, rooms and spaces have not met the present standard library model. Equipment, networks, servers, and software are not synchronous and updated with digital and technology today. There has not been regulations and motivative policies to coordinate the relationship among training management divisions, learners and library management unit. Utilization of the library is, therefore till limited. In order to improve quality and circulation of information at library, new infrastructure for the library is recommended to construct. The staffs also need to attend more trainings and workshop and necessary regulations should be promulgated.
