PROPOSED WASTEWATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY FOR PIG FARM TO REDUCE IMPACT ON SUOI HAI LAKE, BA VI DISTRICT

Abstract


A fruit farm in combination with livestock in 7 Hamlet, Ba Trai Commune, Ba Vi District, Ha Noi City of the business unit Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong was implemented on an area of 23,100m2, designed capacity 200 sows and 4,000 porkers per year. The location of the farm, which is close to Suoi Hai lake, is a well-known tourist site, at the foot of Ba Vi mountain, leading to the requirement of thorough waste treatment, especially waste water. The article proposes the process of livestock wastewater treatment with the capacity of 80 m3/day, separate from each source, mechanical treatment combined with biological: Feces and urine are passed through the stool presser, the remaining water is taken into the biogas tank; Waste water after passing biogas tanks is processed through anoxic tank system, arotank, sedimentation tank, disinfection and storage into biological ponds in the farm to circulate recycle for cleaning the pigsty, watering plants... The whole manure after the fertilizer press, sludge discharged biogas mixed with bio-products and waste field to produce organic fertilizer.
