Abstract

Research has been conducted in saline instrusion area at Long My district, Hau Giang province during wet season 2016, rice variety OM5451 was used. The experiment has been establised in 3 x 3 factorial with three nitrogen (N) levels and three water irrigation regime. Result showed that rice yield reached 7.13 tons/ha at 120 N. Irrigation at 5 cm depth on cracked soil gave higher plant height, the number of filled grains per panicle and rice yield reached 6.08 tons/ha. It is recommended to apply 120 N for rice in salinized condition at Long My – Hau Giang.
