EDUCATION TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT LIMITING PLASTIC WASTE FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN AND PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS IN THAI NGUYEN CITY AND SONG CONG CITY, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

One of the long-term and effective measures to limit the environmental pollution caused by plastic waste is to educate children - the future owners of society to form awareness and habits from an early age. This paper summarizes the educational activities of limiting plastic waste to preschool children and primary school pupils in Thai Nguyen city and Song Cong city, Thai Nguyen province, pointing out the advantages and disadvantages in process of implementing educational activities. The paper is made based on the method of document synthesis analysis and the empirical method. The results obtained: 90% of pupils, preschool children change cognition; 50% of the students participating in the nature protection experience class have applied measures to reduce plastic waste in daily life; 67% of students propagate to their parents ways to reduce plastic waste. The educational activities aimed at raising awareness for children mentioned in the article have practical and educational value, especially in the context of environmental pollution is becoming more serious today.
