Abstract


Foreign literature plays an important role in literary curriculum at Vietnamese schools. It not only broadens Vietnamese pupil’s horizontal literature but also helps them to have a wide range of cultural knowledge. However, teaching foreign literature in Vietnamese schools is challenging and requires a lot of effort. Russian literature is a part of foreign literature. Almost Russian works which are collected in Vietnamese literature text book is the kind of narrative. The aim of this article is to improve the quality of teaching foreign literature through some experiences of teaching Russian works which are based on the particular kind of narrative.
