Abstract

The article presents research results on agricultural economic development in new rural construction. The study conducted a survey with the participation ofwas 391 households living in 03 representative communes/wards, namely, Dong Tien, Phuc Thuan, and Dac Son and 52 local agricultural managers and specialized officers; investigated 20 enterprises - cooperatives; and interviewed 20 experts with in-depth expertise in economics, economic management, rural and agricultural economics. The collected data were processed and calculated with some common statistical quantities of the observed sample such as standard deviation (SD), standard error (SE), coefficient of variation (CV%)…The study pointed out the current situation of issue, at the same time proposing specificsolutionsto promote the development economy in building a new countryside towards urbanization in Pho Yen town such as strengthening the role of the government in rural economic development; promoting the restructuring of the rural economy; developing infrastructure; increasing qualified human resources for the rural economy; modernizing agricultural and rural production.
