Abstract

At present, women have an increasingly high position in society with their roles gradually being affirmed in all professions. The female workforce in the tourism industry in our country is no exception to that rule. With the dominant number of employees and their unique characteristics, they are becoming an important component to develop the tourism service industry. Research using statistical methods; data analysis; consult experts and conduct sociological surveys to get an overview of human resources in the tourism industry from a gender perspective. From there, the article presents some basic characteristics of the female workforce in the tourism industry in Vietnam and proposes to promote the potential of this workforce.
