Abstract

The research was conducted to determine some potential products participating in the OCOP program in Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province. The collected information about the product is analyzed and evaluated according to the criteria of the OCOP program based on three parts: (1) The evaluation criteria of the product and the strength of the community; (2) Evaluation criteria for marketability; (3) Evaluation criteria for product quality. Research results point out the existing and limited aspects of the products. For the evaluation criteria of products and community strength, 61% of products scored 18 points or higher than that. For the evaluation criteria of marketability, 38.46% of products achieved 13 points or higher points. For the evaluation criteria of product quality, the score is quite low. In details, no product has reached to 50% of the score of these criteria. The research results are the basis for making appropriate policies and solutions to develop OCOP products in Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province.
