Abstract

Writing is an indispensable part of the preparatory English curriculum for the Advanced Academic Training Program at University of Economics and Business Administration - Thai Nguyen University. Actually, students find it difficult to study and practice writing all kinds of documents in English, which makes learning results not as expected. It is suggested from the survey that students face many difficulties in terms of vocabulary, grammar and writing skills. The cause of these difficulties comes from both subjective and objective aspects.
