USE STATION-BASED TEACHING APPROACH TO DEVELOP THE ABILITY TO USE CHEMICAL LANGUAGE FOR STUDENTS IN TEACHING OF CHAPTER 3 - THE CHEMISTRY PROGRAM OF GRADE 12

Abstract

The 8^th plenum of the 11^th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam has determined “The fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in socialist-oriented market economy and international integration”, simultaneously “the education process is strongly transformed from learners equipped with knowledge into comprehensive development of learners' capabilities and qualities” [1]. In today's industry 4.0 era, students' capacity development is a more urgent issue. The capacity of students needing to develop includes general abilities and specialized competencies. In specialized competencies, the capacity to use chemical language is a particularly important role, deciding the quality of chemistry teaching in schools. Station-based teaching is an active teaching technique in which students are performed and participated in solving learning tasks at stations. Using station-based teaching techniques contribute to the development of students' abilities, especially the ability to use chemical language. However, the station-based teaching approach has not been applied much. In order to improve the quality of chemistry teaching at schools, we choose the topic of “Use station-based teaching approach to develop the ability to use chemical language for students in teaching of chapter 3 - the chemistry program of grade 12” to study.
