Abstract


Ganoderma lucidum is a precious medicine from nature that has been used for thousands of years in health and healing support. Ganoderma lucidum contains many precious compounds, including the polysaccharide compounds that have anti-cancer effects, reduce blood sugar, prevent cell degeneration, set the immune system, detoxify the body. The effects of material size, extraction time and material/solvent ratio on extraction process of polysaccharide content from red lingzhi were studied. Selection of the conditions of the extraction processis water and extraction temperature at 90oC. The results showed that the concentration of polysaccharide in the red lingzhi was 1.1% compared to the raw material, the material size (0.4 cm), the material/ solvent ratio (1/20), the extraction time (5 hours) for the polysaccharide content of 0.92% and the extraction efficiency is 83.64%.
