This article concerns the co-teaching model that is becoming more and more popular in the world. Through the synthesis of the research, the paper presents the theoretical background of the co-teaching model, the benefits as well as the considerations for application in the context of teaching in Vietnam, especially at institutions of higher education. This article also presents a practical model at the School of Foreign Languages - Thai Nguyen University and initial evaluation of its effectiveness.
