Several aquatic plants species such as Neptunia oleracea, Ludwidgia adscendens and Eichhornia crassipes are common species in ponds and lakes. They can be used for different purposes such as medicine, food as well as cleaning the contaminated water environment. Accordingly, many scientists have chosen them as subjects in recent studies. In this paper, we present the research results on morphological and anatomical characteristics of the above three aquatic plants in order to see how they adapt to the ponds and lakes water environment. The study findings have described the morphological and anatomical characteristics of Neptunia oleracea, Ludwidgia adscendens and Eichhornia crassipes adapted to their living in ponds and lakes water environment to provide data for study and research.
