PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE VALUE OF CULTURAL HERITAGE IN BAC SON DISTRICT, LANG SON PROVINCE

Abstract

For thousands of years, the inhabitants of Bac Son district have created a unique, rich and diverse cultural heritage system. The present tangible and intangible cultural heritage in Bac Son district is the product of many generations’ knowledge and creativity which should be preserved and promoted by the present generation. Through the use of documentary and field research methods, the article aims to study the cultural heritage system in Bac Son district, the current status of conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values. Research results show that in recent years, Bac Son district had the right guidelines and policies to protect and promote values of cultural heritage. The reality shows that the key issue is to find multidisciplinary policy linkages, which balance between culture and economy, protecting and promoting, ethnicity and international integration. The article also recommends solutions to improve the efficiency of conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values of Bac Son district in the current period. Analyzing the current situation and finding suitable and feasible solutions will help Bac Son district turn the potential of cultural heritage into a resource for sustainable development.
