Abstract


This paper presents a passive vibration control method of Diesel engines by combining many dynamic vibration absorbers. Based on the combination of frequency response function and Taguchi methods, the paper offers the algorithm which helps to find  the optimal parameters for the absorber. The best results are compared with the method using a Genetic Algorithm (GA) shows that it is very effective at reducing vibration by combining many absorbers. We can apply Taguchi method to optimize  the parameter of the dynamics systems.
