The study is conducted to assess the current status of the General Informatics, a reviewing module to help students at Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy obtain IC3 certificate. Research methodology: a cross-sectional study with combined qualitative and quantitative methods. Results: appraising and comparing the quality between two study groups in which group 2 has better results than group 1. From the findings, it is recommended that General Informatics should be a compulsory course for all students of the university. IC3 certificate should is considered as the outcome requirement and students should not have A grade as they have got this certificate.
