INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN TRAINING UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS FOR LAOS STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITIES IN THE CENTRAL REGION OF VIETNAM

The article mentions the role, importance and form of international cooperation in higher education; assesses the situation of international cooperation in higher education of the Lao People's Democratic Republic with universities in Central Vietnam; and proposes some solutions for international cooperation in higher education. The article uses the method of analysis and synthesis of theories on international cooperation in university training, document research, expert method to assess the current status of international cooperation in higher education of the Lao People's Democratic Republic with universities in Central Vietnam, and propose solutions for international cooperation for the next years. The research results have clarified the role, importance and form of international cooperation in higher education in general, and properly assessed the actual situation of international cooperation in higher education of the Lao People's Democratic Republic with universities in Central Vietnam as an important basis for proposing solutions for international cooperation in higher education of the Lao People's Democratic Republic with universities in Central Vietnam.
