THE CURRENT SITUATION OF MANAGING PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT ACTIVITIES FOR PUPILS IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN THANH KHE DISTRICT, DA NANG CITY

Abstract


The research was carried out to assess the reality of managing psychological support activities for students in primary schools of Thanh Khe district, Da Nang city, thereby pointing out the limitations and effective management measures. The research uses questionnaire survey as the main method, combining with data analysis method using mathematical statistics.The results show that the management of determining the need for psychological support for students is not clear. Besides, school leaders have not directly developed plans and programs for psychological support for primary students. In addition, organization, inspection and evaluation are not regular. Also, it has not done well in coordination with other social forces. Furthermore, there is no consulting room and supporting documents for consulting work. Moreover, the system and policies for psychological support activities for students in primary schools in Thanh Khe district have not yet received adequate attention. From the results of this situation analysis, it is possible to orient measures to manage psychological support activities for students at primary schools in Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City, contributing to effectively solving psychological difficulties in students, helping to develop comprehensively students' personality.
