USING COLLECTION “VIETNAM WARTIME LETTERS” IN HISTORICAL EDUCATION

"Vietnam wartime letters" is a collection of military sent letters written in battlefields in two national resistance and touching stories whose owners shareed with Colonel, writer Dang Vuong Hung. The 800-page collection published by the Public Security Publishing House is a follow-up to the project "Letters and Diaries of the Vietnam War" initiated and executed by Colonel Dang Vuong Hung in 2005. This is not a history book. The book was published as a literary publication but could be considered as a valuable historical documentary about Vietnam's war that is significant for historical education. We can use the "Vietnam War Letters" as a historical source; A textbook used in history teaching, in other subjects and creative experiential activities in high schools to educate historical traditions and educate political ideas for the younger generation.
