THE IMPACT OF MARKET ECONOMY ON RURAL VIET NAM AT PRESENT

Abstract

The socialist-oriented market economy in Vietnam is a “multi-sectoral commodity economy, operating under a state-controlled market economy, under the leadership of the Communist Party". The development of the market economy has affected all aspects of social life, making radical changes to the face of the country. At the same time, the market economy has had the great impacts on the formation and development of rural Vietnam, including positive impacts as well as negative ones.
