Abstract

The study evaluates the results of in vitro fertilization in patients with ovarian stimulation by using Corifollitropin alfa. Using the cross-sectional descriptive research method, we studied 121 patients indicated for IVF who received egg stimulation with corifollitropin alfa at the National Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital from 2016 to 2018. Research results show that mean age was 29.63±3.93, with a period of infertility of nearly four years. Embryogenesis results when ovarian stimulation with Corifollitropin alfa was high: the number of embryos was 9.75 ± 4.63 embryos; the average number of good embryos was 7.38±4.37; the average number of frozen embryos was 5.91±4.10 embryos; the average number of embryos transferred was 3.12±0.65 embryos. The proportion of clinical pregnancy and live birth in the first embryo transfer were 31.4% and 19.0%, respectively. In vitro fertilization with Corifollitropin alfa was effective and gave good results in terms of fertilization rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and live birth rate.
