Abstract

The study was conducted using a cross-sectional descriptive method to analyze some related factors of infertility among couples of reproductive age in Thai Nguyen. The study was conducted on 2,500 couples using a pre-designed questionnaire. The results showed that physical condition has a statistically significant relationship with infertility (p < 0.05). A history of ectopic pregnancy is associated with infertility (p<0.05). History of amenorrhea and abnormal menstrual cycle of wife have a statistically significant association with female infertility (p<0.05). People who do not have an annual gynecological examination at the commune health station have a higher rate of infertility (accounting for 5.5%) than those who go for a gynecological examination (accounting for 2.9%) (p<0.05). Research results show that physical condition, history of ectopic pregnancy, and annual gynecological examination are factors related to infertility.
