Abstract


This pilot study was conducted to preliminarily assess the feasibility and effectiveness of the draft output standards for the training program of Bachelor of science in Medical Imaging Technology at Department of Nursing and Medical Technology, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in 2022 about suitability and response ability. Suitability was preliminarily assessed based on the opinions of experts deputize for employers and training unit. Response ability was preliminarily assessed from the perspective of graduate students after training according to output standards. The results indicate that the program learning outcomes are appropriate, students are capable of meeting them well, and training unit can apply the program learning outcomes to the training program. However, there are still some points that need further consideration and adjustment during the implementation process. This study may provide valuable insights for evaluating and improving the educational program, enhance the quality of education, aligning with the practical demands of healthcare institutions.
