Abstract

The research uses liquid organic fertilizer to improve the production efficiency of Chrysanthemum indicum grown in Phu Tho. The experiment consisted of four treatments arranged in a completely randomized block design. The research monitored growth, yield, and flower quality indicators according to Vietnam Pharmacopoeia V and preliminary economic efficiency assessment. The results show that liquid organic fertilizers with different nutritional ingredients clearly affect the growth, yield, and quality of C. indicum flowers. When adding Organic Boom liquid organic fertilizer, the plant thrives; the main stem height reaches 53.5 cm; the canopy width 162.5 cm; the base diameter reaches 2.5 cm with the number of first-level branches reaching 8.8 branches; the number of batches picked reached 7.2 batches with the average yield of batches reaching 57.8 kg/acre in the North; the actual yield reached 342.3 kg/acre in the North; the quality of dried flowers meets the standards Vietnam Pharmacopoeia V with the highest extract content of 78.2%. This type of fertilizer gives the highest net profit of 9,079,000 VND/acre in the North with a profit margin of 1.97. Organic Boom liquid organic fertilizer can be used to partially replace chemical fertilizers for C. indicum grown in Phu Tho.
