Abstract


In the examination of 450 fecal samples of farmed chickens in 3 communes and wards in Thai Nguyen city, it was found the rate of coccidiosis was 49.56%. Chickens in the entire ages were infected with coccidiosis, in which the highest rate of coccidiosis was from 1 to 3 months of age. Chickens raised by the grazing method had the highest rate of coccidiosis. In the summer, spring, chickens infected with coccidiosis were more in numbers and critical than in fall, winter. 5% garlic - extract was used for treatment coccidiosis that was high effective and safe to all of chickens.
