Abstract

The digital transformation process has been taking place in most countries around the world. This process has brought many practical benefits but also posed many challenges that need to be resolved in all fields, including the field of education. This research has helped improve the effectiveness of traditional cultural value education for youth union members and students at Can Tho University of Technology. The authors has presented the theoretical basis for some traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese people such as patriotic traditions, traditions of solidarity, kindness, benevolence and diligence and creativity in work. Since then, a number of practical measures have been proposed and applied. These solutions have had a positive effect on students at Can Tho University of Technology, contributing to preserving and promoting these traditional cultural values. The research results are useful references for Youth Union and Student Union officials at universities.
