Abstract

Climate change, environment pollution, overexploitation and other factors have caused a considerable decrease of Amphibians-Reptiles numbers and a dramatic increase in the number of endangered species. As the result, an Amphibians-Reptiles preservation and recovery plan is truly important at the moment. The study, based on surveys conducted, data analyzed in Ba Be National Park, and scientist facts collected has been recorded with 61 amphibians and reptiles (88.41% of species) belonging to 15 families (88.24% of families) of 4 orders (100% of orders) and spreading all over forest habitats in rock mountains, caves and mountain lands. Of those, 49 species have their own specialized lives in natural environment. That is a basis for information updates of the situation and conservation values of the Amphibians-Reptiles area in Ba Be National Park.
