IMPLEMENTATION OF POLICY WORK FOR OFFICERS IN THE MILITARY (2015 - 2020) - GUIDELINES AND RESULTS

Abstract


Implementing policy work towards cadres is the basic content of party work and political work in the Vietnam People’s Army, which plays a decisive role in the quality of combat readiness of units throughout the army. In the period 2015 - 2020, policy work for military cadres has been constantly renewed and perfected; the life of the majority of cadres has been improved. By historical method and logical method, combined with methods of synthesis, statistics, comparison, the article systematizes the guidelines of the Party Committee of the Army and evaluates outstanding results in policy work implementation for military officers from 2015 to 2020. Thereby, the article proposes some solutions to continue improving the quality of policy work implementation for military personnel in the coming time. The research results have confirmed the correctness of the guidelines and policies of the Party and State and the effectiveness of the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics in the implementation of the policy work for military officers.
