GREEN AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT WITH NEW RURAL CONSTRUCTION IN PHU BINH DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

Abstract


Green agriculture associated with new rural construction is an effective solution to improve economic efficiency and protect the environment in agricultural production. This article was designed to analyze and evaluate the current situation of green-oriented agricultural development associated with new rural construction in Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen province. The main methods that were used include secondary data collection, field survey, household interview and data processing. Research results show that a number of green-oriented agricultural models have been formed and developed in Phu Binh district, contributing to improving productivity and reducing environmental pollution. However, there are also many difficulties such as small scale production, low competitiveness; vulnerability to impacts of natural disasters and epidemics; market volatility. In order to develop green agriculture associated with new rural construction in the near future, Phu Binh district needs to have a synchronous policy on land in agriculture; support people and businesses to develop green agriculture associated with new rural construction through payment for environmental services; promote science and technology transfer; train to raise people’s awareness on green agriculture; implement digital transformation in agriculture…
