Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trends in scientific research development at Thai Nguyen University (TNU) based on publications in TNU Journal of Science and Technology during the period 2017-2023. The study utilizes the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) approach, collecting data from two journals: "Natural Science - Engineering - Technology" and "Information Technology and Communication". Bibliometric analysis is applied to evaluate the number of publications, identify contributing institutions, authors, collaboration patterns, and prominent research topics. The results reveal that TNU Journal of Science and Technology has witnessed significant growth in the number of publications in the early stages, followed by stabilization and slight decline. Notable research topics include "adsorption", "deep learning", "heavy metals", and "renewable energy", with "deep learning" attracting the most attention. This study provides an overview of scientific publication trends at TNU, contributing to guiding efforts to enhance the quality of scientific publications in TNU Journal of Science and Technology, aiming to elevate the journal's prestige and position in the national and international scientific community.
