CLINICAL PATHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTIC RESEARCH OF THE GASTROINTESTINAL NEMATODE DISEASE IN BACKYARD CHICKEN IN HAI PHONG

The results shown that most of chicken, which were infected gastrointestinal nematode, presented typical clinical symptoms and generalized lesions of the disease as: thin body, the colors of crest was pale, eating less, morose, glassy; intestinal lesions, inflammation of the intestinal mucosa, congestion of the intestinal mucosa, hemorrhage, caecal swelling with hemorrhagic plaque. Red blood cell counts and hemoglobin levels decreased in the infectious chicken while white blood cell counts and platelet counts increased, compared to healthy chickens. In particularly, The leukocyte count was changed, the granulocyte count was 34.04%; Large mononucleosis leukocyte was 3.09% and triple hemoglobin is 62.87%; The leukocyte formula of nematode infectious chicken were varies from healthy chicken, the number and proportion of mononuclear and granulocytic cells of chicken infected nematode worms decreased less than healthy chicken while the number and percentage of triple hemoglobin increased.
