Tóm tắt

Ngày 21/7/1954, Hiệp định Genève về chấm dứt chiến tranh, lập lại hòa bình ở ba nước Đông Dương được ký kết. Tại Việt Nam, quân đội hai bên ngừng bắn, trong thời hạn 300 ngày phải tập kết chuyển quân và bàn giao khu vực, lấy vĩ tuyến 17 (dọc theo sông Bến Hải - Quảng Trị) làm giới tuyến quân sự tạm thời. Mục đích của bài viết là phục dựng hoạt động tập kết chuyển quân của lực lượng cách mạng tại khu tập kết Cà Mau, đây là một trong ba khu tập kết của lực lượng cách mạng ở Nam Bộ với thời hạn 200 ngày. Thông qua các phương pháp lịch sử, logic, phân tích, khảo cứu tài liệu... kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ rõ mặc dù gặp phải nhiều khó khăn do đối phương gây ra sau ngày đình chiến nhưng nhờ công tác lãnh đạo, chuẩn bị chu đáo của Trung ương Cục miền Nam và Tỉnh uỷ Bạc Liêu mà hoạt động tập kết chuyển quân tại khu tập kết Cà Mau đã diễn ra an toàn, đảm bảo đúng thời gian quy định.
