Tóm tắt
Là một tỉnh miền núi phía Bắc, Lào Cai có nguồn tài nguyên khoáng sản phong phú, đa dạng. Vì vậy, khi chiếm được nước ta, chính quyền thực dân Pháp đã ban hành các nghị định, sắc lệnh về hoạt động thăm dò, chuyển nhượng và khai thác mỏ ở Đông Dương. Trong bài viết, tác giả sử dụng phương pháp lịch sử và phương pháp logic, phương pháp phân tích, tổng hợp để nghiên cứu nội dung: vùng đất Lào Cai trong lịch sử; Sắc lệnh, nghị định về khai mỏ của Chính quyền thực dân Pháp; hoạt động thăm dò mỏ kim loại ở Lào Cai cuối thế kỷ XIX đầu thế kỷ XX. Từ nội dung nghiên cứu, tác giả đưa ra một số nhận xét về hoạt động thăm dò mỏ kim loại của tư bản Pháp ở Lào Cai cuối thế kỷ XIX đầu thế kỷ XX.
