Abstract


This study was conducted to find out learned lessons about community resources mobilization in Boc Bo commune, Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province. The study uses descriptive statistics, comparative statistics and the Likert scale is also used. The research results show that, in the 10 years of implementing new rural development, Boc Bo commune has mobilized: 70,000 m2 of donated land, 216.93 billion VND, and 10,000 work days. The results showed that 92.86% of respondents believed that the mobilization method of local authorities greatly affects on the result of community resources mobilization. The study also found out five learned lessons about community resources mobilization in Boc Bo, including: Democracy, publicity, transparency and well performing the pioneering role of local staffs and party members; doing well propaganda and advocacy work; creatively using the method of mobilization; Being fully aware of the local people role of in new rural development; effectively using resources to promote infrastructure construction, production development, and raising people's incomes.
