DESIGN OF A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK SYSTEM BASED ON ULTRA-WIDEBAND TECHNOLOGY
About this article
Published: 05/03/18Abstract
In this paper, design of a wireless communication network system based on ultra-wideband technology is presented. The ultra-wideband provides an interesting new technology for short range ultra high speed communications in the frequency band 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz. Unlike narrowband technologies that use sine waves to encode information, the ultra-wideband technology uses very short pulses (nanosecond). Therefore, the ultra-wideband has many advantages: i.e., ultra wide 7.5 GHz spectrum bandwidth, very low power consumtion, etc. The results presented in this paper contribute to developments of wireless applications, such as energy-saving wireless sensor networks, indoor positioning systems.
