Tóm tắt

Nghiên cứu nhằm mô tả một số yếu tố liên quan đến mức độ nặng của COVID-19 ở trẻ em tại tỉnh Thái Nguyên. Phương pháp nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 515 bệnh nhân mắc COVID-19 tại tỉnh Thái Nguyên từ ngày 01/07/2021 đến 30/06/2022. Đối tượng nghiên cứu được chia thành 2 nhóm: 36 bệnh nhân nặng, nguy kịch điều trị tại Bệnh viện Trung ương Thái Nguyên và 479 trẻ mắc COVID-19 không triệu chứng, nhẹ, trung bình được báo cáo cho Trung tâm Kiểm soát bệnh tật tỉnh Thái Nguyên. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, trong số 36 trẻ mắc COVID-19 nặng, nguy kịch: trẻ từ 1-5 tuổi chiếm 38,9%, trẻ <1 tuổi chiếm 36,1%; nam chiếm 69,4%; dân tộc Kinh chiếm 69,4%; 55,6% trẻ em ở nông thôn; 97,2% trẻ chưa được tiêm chủng vắc xin COVID-19. Một số yếu tố liên quan đến mức độ nặng của COVID-19 ở trẻ em bao gồm tuổi nhỏ, đặc biệt là nhóm dưới 1 tuổi, giới tính nam và những trẻ chưa được tiêm chủng vắc xin COVID-19. Sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê với p <0,05.
