Abstract

The article utilizes secondary data to analyze the current situation of high-quality human resource development in Da Nang city. In the context of the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution, Da Nang city places even greater emphasis on developing high-quality human resources to meet the demands of current international integration. With the high determination of the city government in attracting and training high-quality human resources, a well-trained workforce has been established, possessing the qualifications necessary to meet the demands of knowledge-intensive, skillful, advanced, and modern job requirements, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the city. Research results show that, as of the present time, the number of officials, civil servants, and employees of Da Nang city has nearly doubled compared to 1997 and increased by 1.2 times compared to 2010. In addition to the achievements, the issue of developing high-quality human resources in Da Nang city also reveals numerous limitations, existing both in the guidance for establishing strategies and policies and in their practical implementation. On that basis, the authors propose several solutions to developing high-quality human resources in Da Nang city in the coming time.
