Focus and Scope

TNU Journal of Science and Technology (ISSN 1859-2171; 2734-9098; e-ISSN 2615-9562) is a multidisciplinary, applied double-blind peer review process. It deals with all aspects of “Science”, including both Natural and Social Sciences as well as Humanities and Economics, and “Technology”, meaning to Engineering and Applied Sciences.

The journal contains five sections, namely Agriculture – Forestry – Medicine & Pharmacy; Natural Science – Engineering – Technology; Social Science – Humanities – Economics; Information & Communications Technology, and Educational Science. Each section has its own Editorial Board and is published periodically as an independent scientific journal.

From 2020 and henceforth, the assignement of Volumes and Issues of the journal will be changed, following the international standard. There will be one (01) Volume for each year, symbolized by the number “2”, meaning to the 2nd stage of the volume assignment. The last two digits are the number of the journal’s age. The Issue numbers of each Volume will be assigned in ascending numerical order, starting from 01. Since the first issue was published in 1996, the year 2020 will be the 25th publishing year of the journal. Hence, the volume of the journal in 2020 will be "Volume 225".

The journal welcomes scientists to submit papers for publication, register to review or access published articles.

Section Policies

AGRICULTURE – FORESTRY – MEDICINE & PHARMACY

This section is published quarterly as a collection of specialized issues, having contents in related fields, of TNU Journal of Science and Technology.

The section is published quarterly at the end of the first month of each quater, i.e. on January, April, Jully and October.

The aim of “Agriculture – Forestry – Medicine & Pharmacy” section is to publish high quality and original research on the science and technology of related fields, including but not limited to:

- Crop and animal production, breeding and nutrition;

- Agricultural product health and safety;

- Biology science and technology;

- Management and conservation of forests;

- Social and economic aspects of forestry;

- Biology and related disciplines;

- Health sciences and technolog;

- And other related fields.

Submission to this section is open for all authors. Authors must choose the proper section in the online submission form when submitting the manuscript.

NATURAL SCIENCE – ENGINEERING – TECHNOLOGY

This section is published quarterly as a collection of specialized issues, having contents in related fields, of TNU Journal of Science and Technology.

The section is published quarterly at the end of the second month of each quater, i.e. on February, May, August and November.

The aim of the “Natural Science-Engineering-Technology” section is to publish high quality and original research on the science and technology of related fields, including but not limited to:

- Mathematic, Physic, Chemistry, Mechanics and Applications;

- Earth Science and Enviromental Science and Technology;

- Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Robot and Control Engineering and Technology;

- Automotive Engineering, Civil Engineering & Construction, Information Technology;

- And other fields of Engineering and Technology…

The section is published quarterly at the end of the third month of each quater, i.e. on March, June, September and December.

The aim of the “SOCIAL SCIENCE – HUMANITIES – ECONOMICS” section is to publish high quality and original research on the science and technology of related fields, including but not limited to:

- Literature, History and Geography Sciences and Applications;

- Anthropology and Archaeology Sciences and Applications;

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY

This section is published biannually as a collection of specialized issues, having contents in related fields, of TNU Journal of Science and Technology.

The section is published biannually at the end of June and December.

The aim of the “Information and Communications Technology” section is to publish high quality and original research on the science and technology of Information Technology and Communications, including but not limited to:
- Computer science and Technology
- Computer networks and data communication
- Software technology
- Artificial intelligence
- Information system
- Information technology
- Information security
- Cryptography
And other related fields.

Peer Review Process

1. The journal applies a double-blind peer review process, whereby the reviewers are not allowed to know the author's information and vice versa.

2. Each submitted manuscript will be reviewed by a member of the Editorial Board, and by at least one independent reviewer.

3. Authors, editor(s) and reviewer are not allowed to know each other. The reviewers are experts in the corresponding fileds, with reputable and high-ranked scientific publications and participating in implementing high quality research projects.

Publication Frequency

Approved articles will be published online immediatelly after the editing process is completed.

Schedule to release the printed version are as below.

- Section for Agriculture - Forestry – Medicine & Pharmacy: quarterly, at the end of the 1st month of each quarter.

- Section for Natural Science - Engineering – Technology: quarterly, at the end of the 2nd month of each quarter.

- Section for Social Science - Humanities – Economics: quarterly, at the end of the 3rd  month of each quarter.

- Section for Educational Science: semiannually, at the end of April and October.

- Section for Information and Communication Technology: semiannually, at the end of June and December.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to published articles as to spread knowledge and allow that knowledge to be built upon, contributing to enhance reputations for the University as well as for the authors. Users are allowed to use articles published in the Journal for legal and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the binding provisions of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerxin 4.0 International License.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, and it permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. The full text of all articles published in TNU Journal of Science and Technology is deposited in the Public Knowledge Project’s Private LOCKSS Network (PKP-PLN) to guarantee long-term digital preservation.

Publication Ethics

1. When submitting articles to TNU Journal of Science and Technology, the authors pledged that the submitted manuscript must be original scientific works by themselves.

2. The authors of any paper are responsible for adhering to the ethics of research and publication of scientific works, brieftly expressed as following:

- Personally responsible for the content of the article, the accuracy and academic integrity of the content of the article.

- All references in the article have been fully and properly cited.

- The data and analysis results are truthful and are not manipulated and / or edited.

3. To ensure the integrity of research and publication in TNU Journal of Science and Technology, all manuscripts submitted are plagiarized by Plagiarism Detector licensed software. Reviewers are also required to provide advice to the Editorial Board and the Editor-in-Chief for the publication ethics of articles being reviewed.
