Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of research on the development of faculty teams in universities based on the SCOPUS database. We used the PRISMA model to collect data and the VOSviewer software to analyze quantitative factors: number of publications, journals, authors, countries, and keywords in studies on the development of faculty teams in universities. The research results show that the period from 2019-2021 indicates a significant increase in the number of publications; the countries with the most publications on faculty team development are China, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia; the journal with the most publications on this issue is Sustainability; the authors with the most publications on this topic are Turner Rebecca and colleagues; the most common keywords are higher education, professional development, academic development, teachers, and faculty development. This research serves as a foundation for researchers, managers, and faculty to identify relevant research issues in line with current trends and applied in research on developing faculty teams.
