A SURVEY ON INPATIENT’S SATISFACTION WITH COMMUNICATION OF HEALTH PERSONNEL IN HOSPOTAL OF THAINGUYEN UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY

Research objective: To determine the satisfaction level of inpatients on communication behavior of health personnel in Hospital of Thai Nguyen University of Medicine
Research methodology: A cross sectional design was used to examine satisfaction level of inpatients in Hospital of Thai Nguyen University of Medicine. A sample of 138 patients were selected to answer 36 items of medical staff-patient communication questionnaire before leaving the hospital. A 5-likert scale self-reported questionnaire was designed to collect data.
Results: The findings of this study indicated that inpatients arranged their satisfaction level at very hight score (Mean = 4.27; SD = 0.49). But the rare of unsatisfied patient was till 8.3).
Conclution: The rate of inpatients who arranged their satisfaction level at very satisfied, satisfied, Slightly satisfied, dissatisfied and very dissatisfied were 37.6%; 54.1%; 6.7%, 1.2% and 0.4% respectively.
