STUDY THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THESE SMALL AND MEDIUM TEA ENTERPRISES IN THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

Abstract


Thai Nguyen tea growing area up to 18.600ha, 2nd in Vietnam. There are over 60 thousand households tea farmers. In the context of the country's integration into the international economy, these small and medium tea enterprises are faced with strong competition. The paper studied the factors affecting the competitiveness of the tea enterprises. Since then, this paper proposed solutions to improve the competitiveness of these small and medium tea enterprises in Thai Nguyen province.

The data was collected by surveying 125 these small and medium tea enterprises in Thai Nguyen province. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the data. Research results indicate that trademark of Thai Nguyen tea at high level. Marketing capacity has not been focused. Research and development of products is not high level.
