“LONG AN BOUNDARY” FROM THE CENTURY XIX TO 1859

Abstract

Currently, there are not many researches on Long An “brave and strength” in 19th century. Among them, there are few researches on administrative boundaries under the Nguyen Dynasty. The Nguyen’s administration in the Southern and Long An is very complicated. These are the process of regularly separating and merging administrative units, and administrative boundaries. Through researches on Long An administrative boundaries from the early 19th century to 1859, this article makes a contribution to enriching documentation resources for researching history in the zone. It can also be used as references for researchers and those who care about land and people in Long An in the past, especially in the 19th century.
