THE WORLD OF CHARACTERS IN THE NOVEL “TIEU THOI DAI” BY QUACH KINH MINH

Abstract

Explaining the meaning of the novel from the point of studying the narrative art, our writing wants to contribute to make it clearer about the essence between three types of basic characters in the novel: “Tieu thoi dai” by Quach Kinh Minh. They are Character pursuing absolute ideal, doubled - sidedcharacters and simple characters. Each type of characters has their own unique style characteristics. That is the image of modern Chineseyoung people living in a materialistic society. The writing also contributes to speak out the art conception about people and realistic society of the writer Quach Kinh Minh, a special phenonmenon of modern Chinese literature.
