CLINICAL AND SUBCLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS IN HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS AT INTERNAL DEPARTMENT – THAI NGUYEN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL

Hypertension was a common health issue in society, intended to increase and now becomes a big challenge to the world public health in general and Viet Nam in particular. Objective: Clinical and subclinical characteristics survey in hypertensive patients at Internal Department - Thai Nguyen International Hospital. Method: 95 hypertensive inpatients at Internal Department – Thai Nguyen International Hospital from January 2019 to June 2019. Results and Conclusions: The rate of women to men was 1,2. Average life expectancy was 60.8 ± 12.3 years old. Classification of hypertension: 27.4% stage 1; 56.8% stage 2, 15.8% stage 3. Cholesterol and triglyceride concentration increase dependent on the increase of the stage of hypertension (p < 0.05). Target organ damage: Coronary artery disease (8.4%), cardiovascular disease (3.2%), brain damage (2.1%).
