Abstract


The industrial companies were established rapidly due to socio-economic growth. Beside the economic benefits, industrial zones also caused negative impacts. The aim of this study was showed the effects and impacts of development on the environment of ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Collection and statistic method, we pointed out that  the industrial development has positive impacts in maintaining, restoring and protecting the environment as well as preserving the environmental landscape. Beside the economic growth, industrial development invests the advanced technologies in environmental treatment. However, the negative impacts from industrial development to the environment take place in many aspects and really have a profound impact on the natural environment as well as people's lives. These impacts not only adversely affect forests, biodiversity, resources and climate change, but also affect negatively livelihoods of ethnic minorities
