Abstract
Studying farmer’s satisfied behavior on results of new rural construction in Lao Cai province aims to assess achievements and constraints under local people’s viewpoint who are main actors and beneficiaries of the program. In addition to secondary data and literature review, this study analyzed primary data of 60 local people to assess their satisfaction in new rural construction using Likert-scale method. The study revealed several important aspects that need to be improved in the process, including limited participation of enterprises, issues related to agricultural development credit support systems. Policy implications in the study could be good evidences to improve effectiveness of new rural construction program in the next phases.
