CURRENT SITUATION AND SOLUTIONS TO STRENGTHEN THE SCIENCE RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF THE LECTURES AT THAI NGUYEN'S DEFENSE FOR EDUCATION AND SECURITY CENTER

Abstract

Scientific research is one of the two main political tasks at the Center for National Defense and Security Education of Thai Nguyen University (Center), in which scientific research activities of lecturers hold a particularly important position. By the method of researching the current situation, combined with the direct exchange with the Board of Directors, leaders of departments and faculties, we realize that in the recent period of scientific research activities of lecturers in Center’s also has certain limitations, due to many different causes.  To promote scientific research activities of lecturers, the Center should implement a number of solutions such as: Enhancing education to raise awareness about the role and importance of scientific research for lecturers;  Actively organize activities to foster scientific research capacity for lecturers;  Continuing to supplement and complete regulations and statutes on scientific research activities and to regularly pay attention to and create favorable conditions for lecturers in research activities.  Implementing the solutions well, bringing scientific research activities in parallel with training activities, contributing to improving the quality of national defense and security education for students at the Center in a new stage.
